Maths - Kip McGrath

 Today's session went very well, Niamh was struggling with the feedback on the Mike but had the confidence to say if she didn't understand or couldn't hear properly.

Her tutor is fantastic - patient, understanding and explains really well.

Niamh is anxious and it's clearly seen when her legs are going, she's tapping, stretching bluetack or clenching her fists. We've done a lot of work on perseverance in the last year (deschooling at the start of year 5 really helped with this) and I'm blown away by how she's coping right now. Her resilience and belief in herself is growing.
