Friendship has been an issue for Niamh for a few years, non verbal cues are difficult for her but behaviours that don't align with her values are also particularly challenging. Niamh has a lot of compassion and empathy and home education has given her the opportunity to spend time with people that she genuinely enjoys the company of. 

She's had playdates with friends in Leeds and Knaresborough, joined friends for spending the day together and goes to a girls friendship group for autistic girls.
