LESSON
The Guru Granth Sahib was written over a period of 150 years. Most of it was written in Punjabi language, but in the Grumuki script. Most of the Guru Grath Sahib was compiled by the Guru Arjan. It contains 5867 hymns as well as teaching other religions such as Hinduism and Islam.
THE MOOL MANTAR IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT SCRIPTS IN THE SIKH SKRIPTS. IT READS -
THERE IS ONE GOD, ONE BY NAME, THE CREATOR, WITHOUT FEAR, WITHOUT HATE, TIMELESS IN FORM, BEYOND BIRTH, SELF EXISTENT, AND KNOWN BY THE GRACE OF THE GURU.
