English Literature - The wee free men
Tiffany gets very frustrated and angry and shouts at the feegle. Sneebs gets in the way of the coming nightmares and is overcome. As their Kelda, they have to obey and all make their way to the trees carrying Tiffany, Roland and Wentworth. Tiffany has spotted a small drome and thinks she can choose the dream they go and she does.
They all end up at the beach but Tiffany is surprised. It's more real than she could create, the sea is salty and she notices the drome is quite happy, paddling his feet in the surf. She wonders if the beach is his home.
The dream is Tiffany's dream about the Jolly Sailor tobacco packet. The feegle are used to boats, and they all pile in, with everyone else including an unconscious Roland.
As they tow outward, a whale appears, and Tiffany spends some time correcting Wentworth about his assertion it is a big fish. Tiffany insists it's a mammal and is astonished when Wentworth takes note. She accepts that her habit of correcting people is just who she is and learns that she is happy to be the person she is.
She requests that the feegle get to the lighthouse and they go to investigate it after the whale has chased a towering ship beside them.
Th feegle fight their way through the crowd of feegle in an attempt to be thorough and all seems peaceful.
