English language - Advertisements

 We looked through this blog and discussed the advertisements. Our favourites were the pencils and Land rover adverts.

We discussed how text and images are used together to complement each other, how tag lines are instantly recognised and how relevant the text needs to be. We were both a little bemused by the marmite advert however.
