Geography - Brimham Rocks

 We read up on the history of Brimham rocks as the formation was 340 million years ago when the UK would have been placed over the equator and been a tropical paradise. 

We examined the lines on the rocks (horizontal and diagonal) to determine whether the bedding planes were a result of grit and sand being deposited or a change in the river direction. A diagonal slant typically represents where huge sand dunes once were. 

The holes and tunnels in the rocks represent the vegetation once there which as it decomposed, left the negative spaces.
