Art - ceramics

 This is an abstract development project and Niamh chose a really quite difficult shape to make (based on coral). 

This had to be hollow which is always difficult with clay as it's a wet material so always has the potential to collapse. Niamh chose to challenge herself and there is a little bit of weakness, but she was careful to dry this correctly, meaning that the shape held itself reasonably well.
